Director of Performance and Assurance (£46,350 | 35 hours)
The Director of Performance and Assurance will provide leadership to ensure the VCSA has a robust internal infrastructure in alignment with our mission and values. To include compliance, risk management, assurance, health and safety, performance and impact measurement.

Relationship Manager (£36,050 | 35 hours)
The Relationship Manager will lead one or a small portfolio of programmes. For all programmes within our portfolio, the VCS Alliance acts as the lead accountable organisation. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that delivery under the programme(s) takes place aligned with the VCSA values.

Project Support Officer (£24,500 | 35 hours)
The Project Support Officer will provide administrative support to programmes across the VCS Alliance, working closely with lead staff to ensure tailored support appropriate to each programme’s needs.

Bookkeeper (£25-28,000 pro rata | 14 Hours)
The Bookkeeper will support the Finance Director in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing budgets, and producing financial reports.

The VCS Alliance Trustee Board
We are always interested in hearing from talented people from all sectors that can
strengthen us as an organisation, and help us to represent and work with and on behalf of our VCSE sector, including our delivery providers. - A charity which works across Bradford District and Craven delivering transformational change to the health and care system.
- A fast growing and innovative organisation.
- Fulfilling our role which includes creating, co-designing, and co-delivering opportunities for the VCSE sector to engage with the health and care system creating opportunities to keep people happy and healthy at home.
- Inform themselves about the operational sectors within which the VCSA operates, i.e., health
- Attend 75% of trustee meetings. The board meets 4 times a year in person plus one strategy planning day.
- Be a member of a subgroup (we ask all directors to do this). Subgroups also meet 4 times a year but online.
- Attend occasional other sessions but very minimally e.g. this year we are committed to participating in anti-racist training
- Ensure the VCSA is compliant with its objectives as defined in the articles of association.
- Induction, training, and ongoing support.
- Reimbursement of expenses.
- The chance to support a brilliant organisation delivering invaluable work an interesting time of change and transition.
- The opportunity to improve the health and wellbeing of some of the most marginalised people in our communities.

You’ll then be invited to submit your CV, together with a short covering letter, and to complete our EDI form. Following that you will…
- Meet with our Chair of Trustees, Vicki Beere
- Attend a couple of board meetings as an observer. Our next scheduled board meeting is 10am – 1pm Thursday 6th November.
- After that, have a conversation with the Chair to have both parties agree that it would be good to go forward.
- Be approved by the full board at the next scheduled meeting
- We then register you as a director on Company’s House
Directors can serve for a maximum of 3 x 3-year terms (Total of 9 years).
