A high­ly com­plex and demand­ing role the Pro­gramme Man­ag­er will be respon­si­ble for over­see­ing 2 dis­trict wide pro­grammes:
1. The Well­be­ing Net­work
2. Part­ner­ships for Peo­ple and Place.

Both these pro­grammes require some­one that can devel­op new, main­tain and man­age exist­ing rela­tion­ships with a wide vari­ety of part­ners span­ning the Vol­un­tary and
Com­mu­ni­ty sec­tor as well as statu­to­ry part­ners such as Cen­tral Gov­ern­ment, Local Author­i­ty, CCG, and NHS bodies.

This is a high­ly demand­ing role but one that will lead to an immense sense of
sat­is­fac­tion for the suc­cess­ful can­di­date.

organ­i­sa­tion. The role of a VCS Alliance Project Man­ag­er is var­ied and demand­ing, but ulti­mate­ly enjoy­able and very ful­fill­ing.

Work­ing along­side our deliv­ery part­ners you will be tasked with sup­port­ing them to suc­cess­ful­ly deliv­er high pro­file projects that sup­port the most vul­ner­a­ble across our dis­tricts, as well as devel­op­ing and main­tain­ing rela­tion­ships that under­pin our
Com­mis­sion­ing and Con­tract oppor­tu­ni­ties.

Work­ing as part of a team the Net­work offi­cer will be respon­si­ble for ensur­ing that the diverse voic­es of the Vol­un­tary and Com­mu­ni­ty Sec­tor are engaged in lead­er­ship and advo­ca­cy, rep­re­sent­ing the depth of com­mu­ni­ties across the Brad­ford and Craven
Dis­tricts.

The suc­cess­ful appli­cant will be respon­si­ble for address­ing bar­ri­ers to par­tic­i­pa­tion in voice and influ­ence, and tasked with devel­op­ing new, and
strength­en­ing exist­ing part­ner­ships with a wide range of organ­i­sa­tions.

As well as being an open appli­ca­tion it is also a fan­tas­tic sec­ond­ment oppor­tu­ni­ty for some­one in the statu­to­ry sec­tor who has a keen inter­est in the live­ly
and pro­duc­tive part­ner­ship work­ing with have in Brad­ford.

Are you pas­sion­ate about reduc­ing health inequal­i­ties and improv­ing health out­comes for people?

If so, you could be the right per­son to be our Senior Project Devel­op­ment Offi­cer in Com­mu­ni­ty Part­ner­ships across Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.

You will work in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Com­mu­ni­ty Part­ner­ships, health and care part­ners and local com­mu­ni­ties to deliv­er ini­tia­tives that bring pos­i­tive change in their area.  

Com­mu­ni­ty Part­ner­ships are one of the key ini­tia­tives that have been imple­ment­ed and devel­oped across Airedale, Wharfedale & Sils­den and Craven (AWC). They are seen as the inte­gral build­ing blocks in devel­op­ing the Inte­grat­ed Care Part­ner­ship to ensure Brad­ford Dis­trict and Craven meet their vision of keep­ing peo­ple hap­py and healthy at home by meet­ing peo­ple where they are, work­ing with them to access the tools and oppor­tu­ni­ties to enable them to live longer in good health through the Com­mu­ni­ty Part­ner­ship mod­el.
