As part of the work to devel­op our Provider Com­mu­ni­ty, we’re now in a posi­tion to work with Providers to help devel­op the details of the organ­i­sa­tion­al require­ments to become part of this, and ulti­mate­ly be com­mis­sioned to deliv­ery ser­vices on behalf of Brad­ford VCS Alliance.

This is a Devel­op­ment Work­shop for Man­agers and Trustees to help to shape the Gov­er­nance require­ments to be part of our Provider Com­mu­ni­ty. These will be cen­tred around the NCVO Char­i­ty Gov­er­nance Code (www.charitygovernancecode.org/en).

This work­shop will be run by Com­mu­ni­ty Action Brad­ford & Dis­trict (CAB&D), who are deliv­er­ing this piece of work for us.

Places for dif­fer­ent organ­i­sa­tions are strict­ly lim­it­ed, and with a max­i­mum of 2 peo­ple from each organ­i­sa­tion to attend (if pos­si­ble one should be a Trustee). Please only book if you will be attend­ing, as book­ing and not attend­ing pre­vents some­one else from joining.

Atten­dees at this work­shop will have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to vol­un­teer to devel­op the next stages i.e. review­ing and propos­ing a set of Work­force Core Com­pe­ten­cies for staff and man­agers, and how all these will be assessed.
