Welcoming New VCSE Advocates for health and care
Wednesday 21st January 2026
Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome a new group of VCSE Advocates for health and care to our growing Advocate network.
Held at The Millside Centre, we hosted an event to bring together new and existing Advocates, creating a space for introductions and networking. This event also marked a real step forward in welcoming Advocates whose professional and lived experiences help broaden and deepen the network in areas where representation has historically been limited.
These Advocates play a vital role in ensuring that the VCSE sector, and the communities we serve in Bradford District and Craven, have a strong, credible voice within the Health and Care System.
Congratulations and welcome to our newest VCSE Sector Advocates for health and care:
- Suzzanne Wakeman – Pillows Pathway
- Juliet Adhoch – Millside Community Centre
- Andy Watmuff – Core Skills Coaching CIC
- Katarina Dome – European Drom CIC
They now join our 50+ strong network of VCSE Advocates in contributing their insight and experience, working together to align a strong, collective voice, and to champion the vital role and impact of the VCSE sector.
We appreciate that this recruitment process, and the event itself, has been delivered at a difficult time of year for many. We hope to soon recruit more Advocates and host another event, especially for those who showed interest but could not attend or commit this month.

Please email Nadine@thevcsalliance.org.uk if you want more information on becoming an Advocate with the VCSA in 2026, and look out for more information soon!
