Do you want support to become an Advocate for the VCSE sector in health and care?
Join our 2026 cohort of Advocates!
Becoming an advocate with the VCS Alliance means you will…
- Gain insight into how the local Health and Care System works
- Use your expertise and experience to inform and influence the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership
- Ensure that our sector is used to its best effect
- And get support by joining our existing peer-network of VCSE advocates and leaders, as well as a personal development programme and training organised by the VCSA!
We’re looking for passionate individuals working within Bradford District and Craven in the VCSE Sector to take part in this opportunity for personal growth and development, and to make a real impact on the sector and how we work with Health and Care.
We are particularly looking for leaders from marginalised communities and those who work with:
- LGBTQ+ communities
- Physical Disability, all ages
- Learning Disability, autism, and neurodiversity, all ages
- Roma Communities
- Gypsy or Traveller communities
- Craven communities
- Homelessness or rough sleeper communities
We are also keen to work with Grassroots organisations. Please email Nadine (details below) if you want to talk about how we can make the recruitment and advocacy role work for you.
We will support you to become a confident advocate for the whole VCSE sector – and give you the opportunity to network and meet others working for similar goals.
You will also be financially reimbursed for your time!
